Gardening by the Month

"Gardening by the Month" is a guide for residents in the coastal area of North Carolina. It gives information on what to do month by month for your lawn, flower garden, vegetable garden, shrubs, etc. The information it contains is timeless. As of December 2004, 200 copies have been printed and over 100 have been sold. Materials were researched by Master Gardeners and proof read by Horticulture Agent David Barkley. The booklet was assembled by Peggy Meinzer who did the typing and most of the layout, Ronda Rhodes and Shirley Waggoner-Eisenman.

"Gardening by the Month" sells for $10.00 and is available at Master Gardener meetings, clinics, and plants sales. Checks should be made payable to BCMGVA.
